The current Town Manager, Colin F. Loiselle, began working for Tyngsborough in 2017. He began his career in Tyngsborough as an intern in the Town Administrator's Office. He has also worked in the Finance Department as a Collector's Clerk, and in the Select Board Office as Executive Assistant, Director of Administrative Services, and Assistant Town Manager. He has previous municipal experience working for the City of Boston as Director of ARPA Implementation and as the Assistant Town Administrator in the Town of Milton.
Mr. Loiselle has a bachelor's degree in Political Science, a Master of Public Administration Degree, and a Master of Science in Political Science degree from Suffolk University in Boston. He is a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO) through the Inspector General's Office and holds a certificate in Strategic Performance Management, Municipal Finance Management, and Data Driven Leadership from Suffolk University.
Mr. Loiselle was appointed Town Manager in September 2023 following the departure of Matthew Hanson who left to assume the role of Town Manager in Bedford, MA.
